The Greek government wants to tighten its border restrictions, Israeli family and friends can now apply for visas on their behalf.


When travelling to India, Indian Visa for Greek Citizens are eligible for a 90-day visa on arrival. Israeli citizens are eligible for a 30-day visa on arrival.

If you are travelling to India for tourism purposes, your tourist visa will generally be valid for 120 days from the date of issue. If you are travelling to India to work, your visa will generally be valid for 180 days from the date of issue. However, if you have a valid invitation letter from an Indian company or institution, your visa may be valid for up to 365 days from the date of issue.

If you are a Greek citizen and you want to visit India, then you need a Greek visa. If you are an Israeli citizen and you want to visit Greece, then you need an Indian visa.

To obtain an Israeli visa, you will need to apply through the Israeli embassy or consulate in your home country. Once you have been approved for an Israeli visa, you will need to present it when arriving in Israel. If you are transiting through Israel, you will not be required to have an Israeli visa.
