How to get a Turkey Visa?

Turkey is a country located in Eurasia, straddling the Taurus and Anatolian mountains. It has a population of approximately 75 million people. Turkish citizens can visit Hong Kong visa-free for up to three months.

To apply for a Turkish visa, you must first complete the online Turkish visa application form (available in English and Chinese). The form requires your full name, date of birth, passport number, nationality, place of residence (if outside of Turkey), and contact information. You also need to upload a photo (2MB maximum) and pay the applicable visa fee. Once you have applied for your Turkish visa and received confirmation from the Turkish Embassy that your application has been processed, make arrangements to travel to Turkey as soon as possible. The earliest you can obtain a visa is 10 days before your desired departure date. Requirements for a Turkey Visa

How to Extend Your Turkey Visa

To get a visa, you first need to submit an online application through the Turkish government’s website.

Once your application is approved and you receive notification from the Turkish consulate in Hong Kong, you will need to present certain documents when arriving at the Turkish diplomatic mission in Hong Kong.

When applying for a Turkish visa, make sure to provide your full name (including any middle names), date of birth, passport number, date of issue and expiry date, as well as your nationality. You’ll also need to provide copies of all relevant documentation, including your passport photo page and two recent identification photos ( passport size ).

Turkey is a Schengen country so if you have an EU passport or an EEA passport which includes the free travel area provisions of the Schengen Agreement – Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway – then you are qualified for a visa-free stay in Turkey for up to 90 days. If you’re not an EU citizen or EEA citizen but have a valid visa from one of these countries then you are also eligible for a visa-free stay in Turkey subject to conditions:

You must be able to prove that you have sufficient funds available and that you will not be claiming social benefits during your stay in Turkey;

You must declare any criminal convictions that may affect your eligibility for entry into Turkey

What to Do if You Lose Your Turkey Visa

If you lose your Turkey visa, there are a few things you can do to get it replaced. The most common way people lose their visas is by not using them when they are supposed to. If you have lost your visa, be sure to keep all of your documentation in case you need it to replace your visa.
